Scott Urigel, MSN, CRNA,

Scott is a graduate of the Case Western Reserve University (CWRU)/Cleveland Clinic Foundation School of Nurse Anesthesia.

In addition to being co-owner of Western Reserve Anesthesia Education, Scott is co-owner of Western Reserve Anesthesia Associates in Findlay, Ohio and serves as part time faculty at the CWRU Nurse Anesthesia Program and the Middle Tennessee School of Anesthesia, Acute Surgical Pain Management Fellowship. He also developed the Block Buddy app, which today is being utilized by anesthesia providers across the nation. In the past, Scott has presented at various state meetings on the topics of transversus abdominis plane (TAP) blocks and rectus sheath blocks. He has also been published in the AANA Journal and Outpatient Surgery Magazine on the topic of TAP blocks. He was featured on the cover of the June 2014 AANA Journal. Scott is a member of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists, Ohio State Association of Nurse Anesthetists (OSANA), and the American Society of Regional Anesthesia. Scott is also the proud recipient of the 2018 OSANA CRNA of the Year award.
